My Favorite Moment of the Weekend

We spent the weekend at the campground and had a great time. The weekend included getting our favorite pizza, the kids seeing friends they have missed all winter, golf cart rides and getting ice cream.  Then we came home and this picture says it all. Hannah and Jake were sitting in separate chairs watching a video on my laptop. Jake couldn't see very well so Hannah told him to come over and she would scoot over.   To watch them sit and enjoy each others' company made my day. For a moment there was no fighting or yelling just sitting and actually liking each other.  I hope and pray that as they get older and things get tough sometimes they will always "scoot over and come join me" to get through those times. #brothersister

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!  This is my family. They are each so different and so amazing. Enjoy the day. Stop and enjoy. 

This is the little baby that taught our family at least for right now- All will be ok. We experienced changes two years that shook us to the core and changed our outlook on everything that we thought we knew. I will start by telling you about our family and introduce everyone that you hopefully will get to know on this blog. Zane is the newest member and born at a time when our life was in total and complete chaos. He is our little surprise. He just turned one and is learning new things each and every day. Jake is the "middle child" and amazing. He finds the best in each and every person and has such a sweet and tender heart. Hannah is my oldest and she is Hannah. Hannah takes on life head on and stops and asks questions later. She has a drive that will do her well and a sense of humor that is amazing! Jeff and I have been married for 13 years and still going strong.
